The scholarship recipients will also be required to work in THE DAILY IOWAN newsroom in some capacity, which will be decided by the editor of THE DAILY IOWAN. The scholarships will be renewable on a semester-by-semester basis, for a maximum of four years, provided satisfactory progress has been made both in academic work and in the newsroom.
