Two more Hawkeye football players have been suspended indefinitely, Iowa head coach Kirk Ferentz said on Sunday - a day after police accused the pair of drug possession.
The charges add to a year riddled with legal problems.
"I was very disappointed to learn the news of the most recent incident involving two of our players," Ferentz said in a statement.

Appointments to the UI Student Elections Board by UI Student Government President Barrett Anderson and Crystal Edler, the head of the executive council of Graduate and Professional Students, were ruled unconstitutional by the Student Judicial Court last week.
UISG Sen. Bennett Noonan filed an injunction with the court on Feb. 17 against Anderson's appointment of five provisional members to election board. These executive orders, he said, violated the group's constitution.

UI Vice President for Research Meredith Hay is leaving.
Approximately a month after the University of Arizona announced that Hay was a finalist for the executive vice president and provost position, the Tucson, Ariz., university announced late last week that the UI official was its selection for the job.

Provost candidates begin to arrive
The first three UI provost finalists will interview on campus this week with the first candidate speaking today.
Robert J. Sternberg, Tufts University's dean of the School of Arts and Science and professor of psychology and adjunct professor of education, will speak today at 3:30 p.m. in W401 Pappajohn Business Building. He will answer questions from a panel of faculty members and the audience.
