There's talk of smear campaigns, electioneering, conflicts of interest and even a sex scandal (I made that up … but who knows?). (1) comment
This edition of my biweekly commentary was going to be about tolerating our circumstances and getting productive things done despite the inevitable presence of negative people who make work and life more difficult. I planned to talk up a couple of fellow academicians' brilliant ideas for organizational reforms in higher education and see if our university could adopt them. (1) comment
