Marin found guilty

After only three-and-a-half hours of deliberation, a jury of seven women and five men decided that Kyle Marin was guilty of two counts of first-degree murder in the April 23, 2006, deaths of Katrina Hill and Molly Edmondson.

Upon hearing the news, cries of relief from family and friends of the 18-year-old victims were audible throughout the courtroom. (4) comments

In a statement to the press following Kyle Marin's first-degree-murder conviction, Raymond Hill, the father of slain 18-year-old Katrina Hill, thanked the jury and local police.
