CEDAR RAPIDS (AP) - The Iowa River is ranked third on a list of the most endangered rivers in the nation, according to a report released Tuesday.
The advocacy group, American River, released the report, which cited toxins, nitrates, and untreated sewage as the reasons for the pollution that put the Iowa River on the list. It's the first time an Iowa river was included on the list.
