When the Hawkeyes take on the Maine Black Bears on Saturday morning in Kinnick Stadium, it will be a reunion of sorts for Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz.

After Ferentz spent nine seasons as the Hawkeyes' offensive-line coach under Hayden Fry, Maine contacted Ferentz and gave him his first crack at being a head college-football coach.
