Authorities have accused an Iowa City woman of using a bank card without authorization.

Tashelle Campbell, 24, was charged with unauthorized use of a credit card over $1,000 and under $10,000 and second-degree theft on Dec. 12, 2013.

According to online court documents, Campbell acquired a person’s bank card while that person was incarcerated.

Campbell agreed to help add funds to the victim’s jail phone account, but instead began using the bank card to make unauthorized purchases.

Unauthorized use of a credit card over $1,000 and under $10,000 and second-degree theft are both Class-D felonies.
