Senior Lake Kwaza, who also competed in that race, finished third with a time of 24.36. Kwaza also tied her season best with a mark of 7.44 in the women’s 60, finishing fourth.

Freshman Jahisha Thomas competed in the women’s long jump and came out on top. The London native received a person best jump of 5.95 meters, 11th in the conference.

On the men’s side, junior Will Teubel took the title in the men’s 800 with a time of 1:49.65. Teubel was joined by teammates Brennan Davey, Brendan Thompson, and Aaron Mallett in the men’s 1,600-meter relay, which raced to a third-place finish at 3:09.87.
