Editorial: Don't procrastinate on body cameras

There is no denying the motives of both the City Council and Chief Hargadine when it comes to moving forward to install these cameras. It is imperative, though, that the initiative to buy the body cameras doesn't get lost in the agenda now that the funding has been repealed for a cheaper option.

Korobov: Keystone pipeline offers a chance for bipartisanship

A childish lack of cooperation was on display last night as a bill to approve the Keystone XL oil pipeline failed to pass in the Senate. The measure was rejected by one vote. Introduced by Democratic Senator Mary Landrieu from Louisiana, the bill was truly bipartisan, attracting 14 Democratic votes.
