Hawks finish regular season No. 15 in rankings

The Iowa field-hockey team finished the 2014 regular season ranked No. 15 in the country, according to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association.

Rounding out the rest of the Big Ten is Maryland (2), Penn State (5), Northwestern (10), Michigan (12), and Michigan State (19). North Carolina is ranked No. 1, and Connecticut and Stanford are ranked No. 3 and No. 4.

The Hawks will take on Northwestern in the first round of the Big Ten Tournament on Thursday.
