We hold these truths to be self-evident (and a little nerdy):

• ACN seems to think its biggest issue is news manipulation or their egomaniacal lead anchor, when it actuality it's probably that all the news they cover is at least 2 years old.

• The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen would be better if it were divided into two conferences instead of its present four.

• It's kind of weird how often Mario and Luigi find flowers that, if eaten, allow them to spit fireballs, when in real life that almost never happens more than a couple of times per year.

• It's a good thing Mix-a-Lot was eventually knighted. Otherwise, that name would've been a very stupid choice.

• When it comes to fantasy races, you should never make your role-playing character and the reasons those races are bad ideas, both Halflings and Gnomes are on my Shortlist Shortlist.

• I think we can all agree that "Game of Thrones" is the greatest show in television history about characters informing each other about events that took place elsewhere and weeks ago. Though, let's be honest, it would be a much better show if there were a few more characters and they all got less screen time.

• People still complain bitterly about the endings of "Lost" and "How I met Your Mother," but — in all honesty — the ending of "The Sopranos" was probably the
