OPINIONS

Guest: Four years of microaggression

It still hurts. Four years of heads dropping or turning away at the sight you, with a quickness so automatic, you wonder if it hurts; of strangers watching you through the corners of their eyes as if looking at you head-on might provoke you, like a ravenous animal; of fielding stares from a distance while you engage in day-to-day activities.

It was a decision I made amid the stress of studying for finals and the desire to do something random and fun that I hadn't really thought about a whole lot.
