Sam Logic was named Big Ten Player of the Week after Iowa’s wins over No. 9 Penn State and Northwestern last week, the conference announced on Tuesday morning.

Logic has posted two triple-doubles this season, including one against Penn State, and she finished Monday night’s game with 20 points, 10 assists, and 8 rebounds. She averaged 17 points, 10 assists, and 9.5 rebounds in the two wins. The junior from Racine, Wis., ranks fourth in the nation in assists, first in the Big Ten.

This is the third time this season that Logic has been recognized with the award, the fifth in her career. She has also been named to the Big Ten Player of the Week Honor Roll four times this season.
