Coralville man charged with burglary

A Coralville man has been accused of breaking into a car.

James Travis Jr., 22, was charged Nov. 13 with second-offense third-degree burglary.

According to a Coralville police complaint, a homeowner found Travis in his vehicle wearing black clothing and a black stocking cap.

Travis was looking in to the glove box of the vehicle. He was held at gunpoint until officers arrived.
Travis has two previous burglary convictions on Oct. 7.

Second-offense third-degree burglary is a Class-D felony.
