Editorial: Iowa's prescription drug problem

In 1999, about two people out of every 100,000 in Iowa died from prescription drug overdoses. The problem, and the public effort against it, was relatively minor in scale. But from 1999 to 2010 that rate more than quadrupled to 8.6 out of every 100,000, according to a report from Trust for America's Health.

A handful of outraged women (and men) have circulated a Change.org petition calling Party City out on their blatant sexism and requesting the company to provide some not-so-sexy options for women to choose from. I mean, it's only fair. We don't all want to be a sexy inmate, or sexy witch, or sexy Batwoman. Sometimes a girl just wants to dress up like a banana - without any secret sexual undertones.
