Officials to distribute neighborhood improvement grants

The Iowa City City Council will vote to allocate Program for Improving Neighborhoods grant funds.

The grants are allocated to neighborhood associations for specific improvements.

According to city documents, the city’s Neighborhood Council recommends the funding of 13 applications from neighborhood associations.

The councilors will vote on the resolution approving the distribution of the grants at their meeting on Tuesday.
