Man charged with carrying large hunting knife

A man has been charged after allegedly displaying a knife during an argument on Highway 6.

Elisha Secrest, 19, was charged on June 7 with going armed with intent after he allegedly threatened someone with a knife.

According to an Iowa City police complaint, Secrest admitted to displaying a large hunting knife during the argument. The victim said that Secrest started throwing things around her apartment,
then walked outside to find him with a knife.

Going armed with intent is a Class-D felony.
