A Muscatine man has been arrested after reportedly recklessly driving on a road covered in snow.
Michael Reiland, was accused Feb. 22 with driving while barred and third-offense OWI.
Reiland was driving in the turn lane going westbound on Highway 6 on a road covered with snow.
Reiland then started driving eastbound on Highway 6. Johnson County sheriff’s deputies initiated a traffic stop after observing the driving. Reiland had watery eyes, slurred speech, smelled of alcohol, and admitted to officials he had been drinking, the sheriff’s complaint said.
