The Iowa City City Council approved the second phase of the Animal Care and Adoption Center Project, which aims to replace the Iowa City animal shelter damaged by the 2008 flood.

The resolution authorizes the city to move forward with architectural consultant services provided by Neumann Monson PC of Iowa City. The new facility will be located at 3910 Napoleon Lane.
