An area man has been accused of burglarizing a home.

According to a North Liberty police complaint, Jeffrey Meiburg, 36, address unknown, was charged Sunday with second-degree burglary.

Meiburg allegedly kicked in the front door in a North Liberty resident and assaulted a resident when confronted, the complaint said. Meiburg did not possess a dangerous weapon or explosives, and the assault did not result in bodily injury.
