Prairie Lights' grant shows good, bad in city's economic policy

Last week, city officials awarded Prairie Lights a $27,500 grant — a decision highlighting both the strengths and weaknesses of the city's policies in making economic decisions for our future.

Higher minimum wage's negative effects

Although a minimum wage is crucial to having any sort of working standards and allowing people a shot at supporting themselves, the drastic increase, from $7.25 to $10.00 per hour, proposed by House liberals would cause major economic harm.

Enough is enough for sexual assault

Reject the assumption that boys must be taught that strength is demonstrated through violence, and move toward a day where men everywhere lead with conviction of respect for everyone.
