The 2011-2012 academic year is over, and celebration is in order.

It's going to get hot in that black graduation gown, so cool yourself down with this week's beer of the week, Brooklyn Brewery's Summer Ale.

The brew smells like summertime should, with notes of grains, grasses, and a hint of lemon.

It pours with a clear, light amber body with a thin and creamy white head.

The Summer Ale features a light bodied mouth feel with mild carbonation. The brew has a biscuity maltiness with a hint of citrusy sweetness.

It is a refreshing beer that is easy to drink.

If this summer is anything like the last one, it's going to be hot and full of work, so drink some beer.

Cheers, grads.
