Iowa medical care headed in right direction

An Iowa State Senate subcommittee approved Senate File 2230 by a 2-1 vote last Wednesday. This move paved the way for the creation of a health-insurance and cost-containment bureau by Iowa's insurance commissioner. Luckily, some members of the Iowa state Legislature are ready to head in the right direction.

Leave the dog at home or bring a pacifier

I can say without reservation that most apartment owners and managers have set rules and regulations for the purpose of protecting the property investment and the residents. To state, as Borer does, that a company "goes to great lengths to take your child's money" is ludicrous.

UISG here for the students

As an involved and proud student at UI, and an informed voter who looked into both UISG parties extensively, I was incredibly embarrassed at an article printed in the DI entitled "No change to toss around" on April 1. Many statements found within the editorial served as an injustice to both parties.
