Johnson County deputies arrested an Iowa City man Sunday after he allegedly drove while intoxicated for the third time.

Marcus Raye Walker, 41, 1306 Whiting Ave. Court, was charged Sunday with third-offense OWI and driving while barred.

Complaints said deputies put out an “attempt to locate” for Walker after he allegedly entered a maroon car while intoxicated. An officer reportedly spotted the vehicle driving “all over the road.”

A driver’s license check showed that Walker’s license is barred, reports said.

Walker allegedly failed field sobriety tests, yeilding a 0.20 in a preliminary breath test.

Third-offense OWI is a Class D felony punishable by up to five years in prison and a maximum fine of $9,375.
