Iowa sophomore guard Jaime Printy will be one of 35 players attending the 2011 USA Basketball Women's World University Games Team Trials. The trials are set for May 22-25 at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.

The 12-player squad will be selected after the trials, and will play in the 2011 World University Games in Shenzhen, China, Aug. 14-21.

Printy was named an honorable mention All-American by the AP and second team All-Big Ten.

A native of Marion, the 5-11 Printy was the first player in Iowa women's basketball history to reach the career 1,000-point mark as a sophomore.

"I am extremely honored to accept an invitation to the team trials," she said in a release. "This will be an incredible experience to compete against the best players in the country."
