The Upright Citizens Brigade will perform its comedy at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Englert Theatre, 221 E. Washington St. Admission is $20 general admission and $15 for students.

The 90 minutes of long-form improv will be presented by RiverFest and the Englert.

The Brigade has two theaters — one in New York and one in Los Angeles — that are dedicated to making high-quality comedy performances accessible for audiences at low ticket prices. The group began performing at Kill the Poet in Chicago and relocated to New York in 1996 and began performing shows and offering training.

The TourCo cast, which travels across the country, is picked from the best improv comedians from the New York City and Los Angeles areas. Big names such as Robin Williams, Mike Myers, Will Ferrell, Alec Baldwin, Tina Fey, and Conan O’Brien have been included in past shows.
