A Coralville fire has left 14 people displaced.

According to a release from the Coralville Fire Department, responders were called to reports of a shed and apartment building on fire at 5:27 p.m. on Monday.

Officials said there was extensive water and smoke damage to two of the apartments, and the other two had moderate damage.

The release said the building was owned by HMR Investments, 971 Boston Way, and all four apartments were being leased at the time. The Red Cross was on the scene to assist the 14 people displaced.

The Tiffin and North Liberty Fire Departments were also on scene, and no one was injured.

No damage estimate has been completed, and officials said it will take a few days of investigation to determine a cause.
