A bill that would decrease the legal limit for blood-alcohol content for a person to pilot a boat is still alive after a legislative funnel this week.

Senate File 7, which passed the Senate on Tuesday, would lower the blood-alcohol limit for navigating a vessel or motorboat from to 0.08.

The current limit is 0.10.
