With it’s name coming from a French term meaning “of the earth,” the New Belgium Brewing Company’s Le Terroir is appropriate for those getting back into nature for the spring season.

The dry hops sour ale is brewed with Amarillo hops, which Joe Hotek of John’s Grocery, 401 E. Market St., says gives the beer it’s unique citrus flavor.

“It’s a really nice, light, easy-drinking body with a tart flavor and a tropical fruit aroma on the nose,” he said.

Because of its slight lemon zest, Hotek said, the beer makes a good match for any meal involving chicken or fish.
