Joe and Vicki Price will perform their energetic country blues at 8:30 p.m. Friday at the Mill, 120 E. Burlington. Admission is $8.

After touring together for five years, Joe and Vicki Price got married, and they have performed together for 27 years since. They have opened for artists such as Al Green, John Lee Hooker, and Willie Dixon.

The couple has released five CDs on Iowa’s Trailer Records, and in 2010, won an Independent Music Award for best Blues CD and an IMA Vox Pop People’s Choice Award for a blues CD. That particular CD has gotten rave reviews in Vintage Guitar Magazine, Blues Revue, and the Chicago Sun Times.
