New regents: advocate for higher education

The regents must be active on behalf of the institutions they ostensibly curate; students and university officials must not be the sole voices defending Iowa’s higher education.


Too many liberals?

How can a college, that bastion of ever-widening minds and divergent viewpoints, provide students with an accurate portrayal of American politics when one side is so overwhelmingly drowning out the other?


Iowans are worldwide leaders

If government policies and business development are positively handled here, we will more broadly influence outcomes and results worldwide than our status as “fly-over” country might indicate.
