The University of Iowa’s Provost Search Committee plans to meet several times in March to start reviewing candidates, and the members hope to have candidates on campus by the end of April, said Heather Ockenfels, a graduate and professional student representative on the committee.

Another representative read a statement on Ockenfel’s behalf at Tuesday’s meeting of the Executive Council of Graduate and Professional Students.

University of Iowa spokesman Tom Moore could not give any more details on the search but said it was running on time.
