Iowa City man faces multiple drug charges

Iowa City police say they found various drugs after searching an Iowa City man's residence.

Zedcliff Kiche, 23, 14021⁄2 Pine St., was charged Dec. 1 with two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and an Iowa drug tax-stamp violation.

According to Iowa City police, Street Crimes Action Team detectives responded to 14021⁄2 Pine St. at approximately 9 p.m. on Oct. 26. A search reportedly found 50.5 grams of marijuana, 5.1 grams of cocaine, K2, and various drug paraphernalia.

Possession of cocaine with intent to deliver is a Class C felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a maximum $50,000 fine. An Iowa tax-stamp violation is a Class D felony punishable by up to five years in prison and a $7,500 fine.
