Further steps needed to stem the spread of HIV/AIDS
Iowa legislators should deregulate syringe possession laws, in the style of Oregon and New Hampshire.
I sincerely hope that individuals with HIV, and all those otherwise prohibited from donating, will agree that however embarrassing and inane the ban, the life-saving power of donated blood outweighs the downsides.
Why I oppose the World AIDS Day blood drive
It presents World AIDS Day as if it exists outside of gay men and people living with HIV, arguably the two groups in the U.S. most confronted with HIV/AIDS.
