Police search for people who shot out vehicle's window

Iowa City police are investigating a pellet-gun incident.

According to police, the residents of 4146 Rohret Road called authorities on Nov. 25 to report the rear window of their SUV had been broken while backing out of their garage around 5:45 a.m.

The investigating officer found two pellet gun projectiles on the scene, police said.

No one was injured in the incident, and no one has reported similar incidents to the department, police reports show.

Officers are still investigating the incident.
