Iowa senior defensive end was named one of four finalists for the Rotary Lombardi Award Wednesday. The award — which honors the memory of former Green Bay Packer coach Vince Lombardi — has been presented annually to the nation's top lineman since 1970.

Clayborn has started 33 career games for the Hawkeyes, including an active streak of 26-consecutive starts. The St. Louis native has recorded 40 tackles this season, with six for loss and 2.5 sacks. Additionally, the 6-4, 285-pounder blocked a field goal in Iowa's win at Michigan.

Other finalists joining Clayborn are Clemson defensive end Da'Quan Bowers, Auburn defensive lineman Nick Fairley, and TCU center Jake Kirkpatrick.
