Definite winners have still not been named in a handful of extremely close races in the Iowa Legislature. Slim margins in at least two races could trigger recounts that might give Republicans a share of control in both chambers of the statehouse.

In State Senate District 13, just 38 votes separate Democrat Tod Bowman and Republican Andrew Naeve.

And in State Senate District 47, Republican Mark Chelgren and Democrat Keith Kreiman are split by just 13 votes.
