A robbery suspect remains at large after a bank robbery Wednesday afternoon.

Iowa City police responded to US Bank, 1117 William St., at 1:39 p.m. The suspect — described as a 40-year-old white male — fled on foot north toward Muscatine Avenue with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police said the suspect handed the teller a note. He did not display a weapon, and there were no injuries.

He reportedly wore a gray NASCAR sweatshirt, blue baseball cap over his shoulder length hair in a ponytail, blue jeans, and sunglasses. He carried a dark-red over-the-shoulder bag.
