UI supports suicide prevention week
The University of Iowa will provide support for National Suicide Prevention Week, Sept. 5 through Sept. 11.
The UI's College Committee for the Suicide Prevention Coalition has partnered with the Crisis Center of Johnson County. They will be offering free suicide-prevention training for staff, students, faculty, and community members.
For UI students, the training program will take place 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Sept. 9 in C131 Pomerantz Career Center.
