Football opens spring practice

The first-floor hallway of the Hayden Fry Football Complex houses a Ben Krause quote that reads, “Don’t bother looking back because we’re not going there.” A floor below in his spring practice press conference, head coach Kirk Ferentz reinforced the importance of moving on from the Hawkeyes’ historic 2009 season.

Buese a Nissen-Emery finalist

Iowa senior gymnast Jon Buese was recently named a finalist for the Nissen-Emery Award, given annually to the nation’s outstanding collegiate gymnast.
