For the first time in three years, season ticket prices for home Iowa football games will increase, according to a release sent on Tuesday by the Iowa athletics department.

After a season in which the Hawkeyes went 11-2 overall with a win in the 2010 FedEx Orange Bowl, football season tickets will go up to $360 for the general public, $290 for UI faculty and staff members, and $168 for UI students. Iowa will play seven home games during the 2010 season, with the opener coming on Sept. 4 against Eastern Illinois.

Renewal orders from non-UI students who purchased season tickets last year have already been accepted by the Iowa Athletics Ticket Office; March 22 will be the first date season-ticket orders may be submitted by new customers.

All UI students can purchase season tickets beginning the first week of April, and they will have the remainder of the spring semester up until finals week to guarantee seats for all the 2010 home games.
