Clarifications

SocialTwist Tell-a-Friend

In the March 1 article “Iowa 9th in organic farming,” the DI did not clearly link the phrase “bad reputation” to the U.S. Department of Agriculture survey’s findings on organic farming. State officials did not cast that judgment on organic farming practices. The DI regrets the error.

In the March 1 article “Task forces’ ears open,” the DI incorrectly reported that few comments have been sent to the Office of the Provost. Officials in the Provost’s Office are reviewing many comments from various departments. The DI regrets the error.
