A yellow truck sits in snow on Jefferson Street while employees of city employees knock on doors to alert people their cars might be towed. Since the city declared a snow emergency on Wednesday, cars have been getting towed that are parked on the wrong side of the street.

Jefferson, who started working at 7 a.m., said he will continue towing throughout the day “until they stop calling me.” A new city snow emergency has confused many residents, with some saying they didn’t know it existed.
