As one of the most prominent Olympic sports in other countries — most notably Malaysia and China — badminton has found a niche in the Field House.

But while most play for leisure, on Nov. 16-18, Recreational Services will hold a badminton intramural tournament in the Field House.

Players or doubles teams can sign up until the day of competition. A $6 fee for a doubles team and a $4 fee for a singles players applies.

The tournament is single elimination with five different divisions of play, including co-recreational doubles, and men’s and women’s singles and doubles.

While the first round is organized by Recreational Services, the rounds thereafter require players to coordinate with one another when they will play.
