U.S. conservatives should look to European counterparts
Germany offers universal health care to all of its people, operates trains that run at 217 mph, is advanced in generating electricity from renewable-energy sources, provides its people with two months of vacation each year, and its economy is in better shape than ours is.
The only thing delaying us from doing the same in this country are obstructionist conservatives in Congress, such as Sen. Grassley, R-Iowa, and their backward-looking toadies.
Maybe these conservatives should move to Germany and find out what people can really do. Their move would facilitate an unimpeded transition into a future that has America once again leading the way in all areas of progress.
