I’m not going to pretend that I was the only person that had my September ruined by the cancellation of VH1’s “Megan Wants a Millionaire.” As a corollary, I’m not going to pretend to be the only person who has ever been duped by a so-called smooth operator.
As KRUI gears up for the new semester, several changes have been made that the station hopes will increase coverage and expand its capabilities, as well as provide better training for aspiring DJs.
Silverware scraping, glasses clinging, people chatting — the typical restaurant scene. Now, throw it on the sidewalk, add some music, a dash of salt and pepper, a few freshmen, and voilà — the Taste of Iowa City is ready to be served.
