ARIES (March 21-April 19): You may have to move things around to cover your costs. A new friendship will prove beneficial in more ways than one. Making changes to your lifestyle will pay off monetarily.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)): Don’t let someone’s insensitivity get the better of you. Refuse to make a decision until you have all the facts and feel confident you are making the right choice.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20): Take a deep breath before you lose patience and do something you’ll regret. Someone you partner with will have plenty to contribute, but if you think you are being upstaged, you may react poorly. Avoid uncertainty.

CANCER (June 21-July 22): Determination coupled with desire will give you a competitive edge, so don’t hesitate to participate. Romance is in the stars and can lead to an intimate encounter late in the day if you play your cards right.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22): It will be hard to stifle your emotions, let alone stay out of trouble. Personal issues will lead you into battle if you aren’t careful. You may be able to win the fight, but the way you feel afterwards won’t be satisfying.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): Expect someone around you to shake things up and cause you to think about how best to protect your interests. Uncertainty regarding a contract, legal, or financial matter may leave you in limbo.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): Don’t get involved in something that will cost you time, money, or your position. Say no to anyone who wants to take advantage of you or your skills. A promise will be broken if you don’t get it in writing.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): Deal with your own responsibilities first. Someone is likely to make you feel vulnerable by bringing up a subject you aren’t ready to discuss. Being misinformed will lead to a poor assumption on your part.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): You can stand up for your beliefs and your rights, but if you are too stubborn to compromise, you can expect your adversary to walk away. Consider what you have to do to ensure that your future is secure, and implement the necessary change.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): Don’t be fooled by copycats. If you look for the real deal, you will find it at the best price. Voice your ideas, and offer your experience; you will make a good impression.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): Be honest about what you did and didn’t contribute, or you may be questioned or put in an awkward position. Surround yourself with positive people who have similar interests. Educational pursuits will give you greater skills and confidence.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20): You may feel like taking a risk, but there will be underlying facts leading to loss. An emotional matter will cost you if you haven’t been upfront or fair with past dealings. The way you handle others will determine what you will get in return.

Applying Queensbury rules of boxing to the bedroom: practical or impractical?

by Andrew Juhl

• To be a match, it should take place in a 24-foot enclosure (each wall being 8 yards long) or as near to that size as practicable. Practical (and about the size of a decent hotel room).

• No wrestling or hugging allowed. Impractical (depending on your mood).

• The rounds are to be of three minutes’ duration with one-minute breaks between. Practical (for men, anyways, but rather unenjoyable for women).

• If either party falls from weakness or otherwise, they must get up unassisted, 10 seconds being allowed to do so, and the other party is to return to their corner. Impractical (but could be interesting).

• If either party is in a helpless state, with their toes off the ground, they shall be considered off-limits. Impractical.

• No other person is to be allowed into the enclosure during the rounds. Practical (again, depending on your mood).

• Should the match be stopped by any unavoidable interference, a place and time for finishing the contest are to be named as soon as possible, unless it is agreed the match would end in a draw. Practical (if a little disappointing).

• Gloves should be fair-sized, of the best quality, and new. Practical (very).

• Should a glove burst or come off, it must be replaced according to both party’s satisfaction. Practical (and pretty much a mood killer).

• If either party takes a knee, they are to be considered off-limits. IMPRACTICAL!!

• No shoes or boots with springs allowed. Practical (but so much less exciting).
