Registration lines for the Spring Job and Internship Fair wrap around corners inside the IMU on Wednesday. Partially reflecting the current economic situation, more students and fewer companies attended the job fair compared with previous years.

More than 1,000 Iowa students fill the IMU main ballroom on Wednesday during the Spring Job and Internship Fair. One hundred-ten companies and around 1,500 students attended the fair.

Iowa City Cable TV Division records a lecture by Jean-Baptiste Main de Boissiere at the Congregational United Church of Christ on Thursday. Main de Boissiere, the French consul general in Chicago, presented his lecture as part of the UI’s 10th-annual Crossing Borders Convocation.
